Qatari gas could boost Pakistan steel industry, manufacturing output
State-owned Qatargas is in the final stages of talks on a deal to supply Pakistan with 3 million tonnes/year of liquefied natural gas for 15 years, according to a Reuters report quoting industry sources. The deal could be signed in a few weeks and the first shipment sent in March.
