Schuler supplies new spiral pipe mill to Mexico's Tuberas Procarsa
Mexico-based steel pipe manufacturer Tuberías Procarsa will receive a new spiral pipe mill in the coming weeks, Kallanish learns from equipment supplier Schuler, part of the Austria-based Andritz Group.
The new line will enable the Mexican manufacturer to produce large pipes with diameters ranging between 508-2,235 mm (20-88 inches) and lengths between 12-24.4 metres, Schuler says. The facility will have a capacity of 220,000 tonnes/year.
