Posco to build Turkmenistan ironworks
South Korea’s Daewoo International, part of Posco Group, has signed a memorandum of understanding with the Ministry of Industry of Turkmenistan to build a 1 million tonnes/year steelworks in the country, Posco says. The project is expected to become a base for Daewoo International’s expansion into the country, it adds.
