Posco plans China autosheet plant
South Korea’s Posco plans to begin production at a new autosheet processing plant in southwest China’s Chengdu by the end of the year, with regular supply beginning in 2016, it says. Chengdu is a growing automotive production base, with Volkswagen, Toyota and Volvo all operating joint venture factories there alongside several domestic producers, Kallanish notes.
