Port Hedland iron ore shipments soar again in August

Iron ore shipments from Port Hedland in Western Australia to China rose again in August by 43.9% year-on-year.  Over 37 million tonnes of the product was exported to all destinations according to statistics released by Port Hedland Port Authority and monitored by Kallanish. Cargoes to China grew to 32,029,176 tonnes from 30,566.800t in July an increase of 4.8% month-on-month, but were up by 43.9% y-on-y from the volume of 22,260,508t exported in August …
