Polish consumption hits 25-year high in 2014, but imports take higher share: HIPH
Poland recorded a 25-year high apparent steel consumption of 12.19 million tonnes in 2014. This was, however, exploited by a growth in imports, especially from outside the EU, while local producers did not benefit, Kallanish learns from the Polish Steel Association (HIPH).
