Odisha moves to carry out first-ever iron ore e-auction
The Odisha Mining Corporation (OMC) intends to sell various grades of lump iron ore and fines in its first-ever e-auction on 27 October, Kallanish learns from the Indian company. The auction will be conducted by state-owned MSTC Limited.
According to reports, 417,000 tonnes of fines and 365,000t of lump ore have been earmarked for sale. “We have received enquiries from about 30-40 buyers for the online auction of iron ore,” says an MSTC official.…
