Nucor signals first half growth as quarterly dividend payment rolls on and on
US steelmaker Nucor has reported across-the-board increases in company performance for its second financial quarter of 2014. The company also expects to see a “…stronger improvement…” in earnings in the third quarter. This is not surprising, Kallanish notes, coming as the comment does from an organisation that announced simultaneously that it is to pay its 165th consecutive quarterly cash dividend to shareholders in August.
