Nucor anticipates improving performance in Q3
Nucor expects improved performance in the third quarter in its steel mills and downstream segments. This is as a result of lower average cost of inventories at the start of the quarter, as well as continued strength in the automotive and construction markets. The performance of the raw materials segment should be comparable to the second quarter, the flats and longs steelmaker says in its Q2 earnings report.
