North American stockist shipments down, inventories up
US and Canadian service centre shipments remained below year-ago levels in July as higher inventory levels persist, Kallanish learns from the latest monthly report from the Metals Service Center Institute (MSCI).
US service centre shipments were down 7% year-on-year in July, while shipments in Canada decreased 14% from July 2014.
