Aspire, Noble explore Mongolian coking coal

Australia’s Aspire Mining and Hong Kong-headquartered trader Noble Group are exploring for coking coal opportunities in Mongolia through a 50:50 joint venture. Aspire has an option to buy out Noble from the joint venture by March 2016. Ekhgoviin Chuluu Joint Venture (ECJV) already owns exploration licences for two sites in Mongolia’s South Gobi region and is applying for a third.
