No respite for US steelmakers, as weekly raw steel output dips again

US crude steel weekly production and capability utilisation dipped again year-on-year in the week-ending 7 February 2015, the latest figures released by the American Iron and Steel Institute (AISI) show. Year-to-date output has now edged below that seen in the first six weeks of 2014, Kallanish notes.
