Michigan sees new brownfield coil processing facility
Ferrous CAL Co is constructing a coil processing facility worth over $50 million on a brownfield site, the former location of McLouth Steel, in Gibraltar, Michigan. Start-up of the new annealing operation, which will create 100 new jobs, is expected late in 2016.
Ferrous CAL is a newly-formed affiliate of Ferragon Corp, a hot and cold rolled steel toll processor with operations in Michigan, Ohio, Kentucky, and Mississippi.
