New 300,000t/y UAE steel foundry set to source scrap, iron ore from MENA, India
Advanced Manufacturing Solutions (AMS) will build an induction furnace-based steel foundry in Abu Dhabi with an ultimate production capacity of 300,000 tonnes/year of automotive parts. Iron ore and scrap feedstock will be sourced locally, as well as from Saudi Arabia, India, Egypt and Philippines, a spokesman for AMS parent company FourWinds tells Kallanish.
