New SMS-supplied CRC mill launches in Turkey
Gazi Metal Maxmülleri Sanayi Ve Ticaret has launched the production of cold-rolled strip on a new mill supplied by SMS Group, the German plantmaker tells Kallanish.
The mill has an annual capacity of 350,000 tonnes, and is laid out to accommodate later expansion, SMS says. The facilities include a one-stand reversing cold-rolling mill, a skin-pass mill, an acid regeneration plant, and a semi-continuous pickling line.
