New Alstom accreditation boosts NLMK value-added products output
NLMK has received the status of preferred ‘category A’ supplier of transformer steel from energy giant Alstom. This will aid in the steelmaker’s strategy to increase the share of high value-added products in its output, Kallanish learns from the Russian company.
The category was allocated following the results of a production audit performed by Alstom experts at the Lipetsk production site and at VIZ-Steel in Yekaterinburg.
