NLMK moves to increase galvanizing capacity at Lipetsk
NLMK has launched a project to construct a fifth continuous hot dip galvanizing line (HDG-5) at its Lipetsk production site, Kallanish learns from the steelmaker.
HDG-5 will have a capacity of 450,000 tonnes and is part of the so-called Strategy 2017 project. This scheme will enable NLMK to exceed 1.7 million tonnes/year total galvanizing capacity at the Lipetsk site, the company says.
