Misr National Steel reports 473% surge in Q2 profit
Egyptian rebar re-roller Misr National Steel Ataqa reported a 473% on-year surge in net profit in the second quarter to EGP 27.97 million ($3.58m), Kallanish learns. First half of 2015 profit thus grew 62% to EGP 36.29m.
The company could not be contacted before deadline for comment on the reason behind the markedly improved profit.
