Middle East steel output growth continues in October, UAE slump eases
Crude steel production in the four Middle Eastern countries covered by the World Steel Association’s monthly output report increased 8.4% year-on-year in October to 2.49 million tonnes. The slump in United Arab Emirates’ output was reduced from double-digit figures to 8.2% after Emirates Steel (ESI) completed its capacity expansion.
