Middle East crude steel output up 8% in September, but UAE continues to languish

Three of the four Middle Eastern countries covered by the World Steel Association’s monthly output report for September, monitored by Kallanish, continued to register strong crude steel production growth. The region as a whole saw an 8.4% year-on-year increase during the month to 2.34 million tonnes.
