Middle East crude steel output inches up in August, but UAE plummets
Crude steel production in the four Middle Eastern countries covered by the World Steel Association’s monthly output report increased 2% year-on-year in August to 2.25 million tonnes, although output in the United Arab Emirates plummeted 58.9%.
