Mexico overtakes Brazil's declining car industry, says voestalpine
Output from Mexico’s car manufacturers has overtaken that of Brazil, reports local steel market supplier, Aceros Bohler Uddeholm (BU). In the first seven months of 2014, 1.86 million cars were made in Mexico, which is a 7.5% rise on the January to end-July 2013 period, according to the local car-industry trade body, quoted by Aceros BU.
