Mechel cuts group debt by $300m to $8.65bn
Russia’s Mechel Group saw first half 2014 revenue fall 26% to $3.44 billion year-on-year, while quarter-on-quarter, its Q2 external sales were up 3% to $1.74bn. The group’s H1 sales declines were largely in its steel division, the company tells Kallanish [see associated articles].
