Japan's Maruichi acquires Evraz North American tube plant, Oregon Steel
Maruichi Oregon Steel Tube, the North American subsidiary of Japanese tubemaker Maruichi Steel Tube, has acquired Evraz’ structural tube division Evraz Oregon Steel, based in Portland, the Russian seller tells Kallanish.
The Evraz structural tubing facility produces approximately 5,000 tonnes/month of hollow steel sections for construction, industrial and agricultural applications.
