Market conditions delay Moon Iron & Steel works, construction could begin in March
The launch of prospective Omani steelmaker Moon Iron and Steel Company (Misco) has been delayed due to “market conditions”, a company official tells Kallanish.
The steelworks had been initially scheduled for start-up by end-2015, but construction is now only likely to begin next month at the earliest. Commissioning will occur two years after the plant breaks ground.
