Magang plans new 3,200 cu m blast furnace
China’s Ma’anshan Iron and Steel (Magang) says it has completed studies for a new 3,200 cubic meter blast furnace. The company has been increasing its autosheet output and is delaying the closure of some of its outdated steelmaking capacity, Kallanish notes.
