MMK supplies 37% more steel to Russian ship builders
Russia’s Magnitogorsk Iron and Steel Works (MMK) shipped 37% more plate for shipbuilding last year, noting that the sector took delivery of 78,000 tonnes of steel from MMK in 2014. This represents nearly half the total required by Russia’s ship building industry, the steelmaker tells Kallanish.
