MMK sees higher Russian prices for steel in Q1 after Q4 shipment slump
Russia’s Magnitogorsk (MMK) sees domestic Russian steel prices continuing to grow throughout the first quarter, as they catch up with export parity prices that have expanded because of the slump in the rouble. The expected re-launch in March of MMK's blast furnace No 8 after scheduled maintenance is also likely to affect Q1 results, Kallanish learns from MMK.
