MMK Metalurji Q1 revenue falls y/y due to lower steel prices
Turkish cold roller MMK Metalurji’s revenue declined -19.7% year-on-year in the first quarter to $139 million due to the decrease in steel prices on global markets in late 2014 and early 2015, Russian parent company MMK says in a statement seen by Kallanish.
MMK Metalurji generated $4 million in ebitda in Q1, down -69.2% on-year, reflecting the drop in revenue, MMK adds.
