LME sets launch date for new steel scrap and rebar contracts
The London Metal Exchange (LME) tells Kallanish that it launching two new ferrous metal contracts in the fourth quarter of 2015.
The LME Steel Rebar and LME Steel Scrap contracts are cash-settled futures designed to complement its existing ferrous contract, LME Steel Billet. This will meet the needs of the metal community for new risk management tools, the exchange says.
