Japan steel exports, imports fall in July
According to provisional statistics released by Japan’s Ministry of Finance, Japanese iron and steel foreign trade experienced a huge decrease in July, Kallanish notes.
Exports of iron and steel products were 2.469 million tonnes, with a total value of JPY 186.216 billion ($1.76 billion), down -18.5% and -32% year-on-year respectively.
