Italian joint venture sets up shipbreaking in Piombino
The Italian port of Piombino is to gain a new ship-breaking business. Neri Group, which is based in Italy, and provides maritime services has joined forces with San Giorgio del Porto, which is engaged in ship conversions and repairs, and with the Eni-owned turnkey contractor in the oil and gas industry, Saipem, according to the companies’ joint statement.
