Italian flats production falls sharply in November
Italian steel production has declined sharply in November, because of the continued fall in flat products output, according to the local steel producers’ association, Federacciai.
Following a 5.4% year-on-year fall in October’s output, November’s provisional results for steel in general, highlight stronger losses, with Italian production amounting to 1.86 million tonnes, or 16.4% less than the 2.22mt documented in 2013.
