Italian steel output falls by 11.3% in January, Federacciai reports
Crude steel ouput in Italy fell heavily year-on-year in January, Kallanish learns from steel producers association Federacciai. Production fell to 1.88 million tonnes or by -11.3% compared to that of January 2014. The decrease will have been exacerbated due to the well-documented difficulties into which many companies in the sector have fallen in recent times, Kallanish observes.
