Italian crude steel output falls again in February
Crude steel output in Italy followed a downward trend in February, Kallanish learns from steel producers association Federacciai.
Production in February dropped to 1.9 million tonnes versus 2.1mt in the second month of 2014 or -9.7% less year-on-year. Output fell even more heavily over the first two months of the year, by -10.5% to 3.8mt, compared to the 4.2mt achieved in 2014.
