Italy's Duferdofin raises beam price by 10/t for low-volume buyers
Italian steelmaker Duferdofin has announced a €10/tonne price increase on the base price of its beams for its small lot buyers, local mill agents and service centres tell Kallanish.
As previously reported, domestic transactions for Category 1 sections are around €530/t ($570/t) ex-works, increasing by roughly €20/t for each subsequent category. This should take Italian transactions up to €540/t for Cat 1.
