Iran iron ore pellet imports surpass 800,000t in last six months
Iranian imports of iron pellets amounted to 812,751 tonnes in the first six months of the Iranian year (to 22 September), at a value of $150.1 million, according to latest customs figures seen by Kallanish.
The main countries of origin were Bahrain (476,000t), United Arab Emirates (302,000t) and India (35,000t), the customs statistics reveal without providing a comparison for last year’s corresponding period.
