Iran and Kuwait sign MoU to build steel mill in Iran
Kuwait Steel and Trade Company and the Iranian government have signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) to set up a new steel mill in Iran. The joint investment will establish a large complex to be built in four stages, according to local press reports.
The agreement was signed in Tehran on 2 June by Iran’s Deputy Minister of Industries, Mines and Trade, Mehdi Karbasian and the md for Kuwait Steel, Awad al-Khaledi.
