Inteco lands second order to supply ESR furnace to Uddeholm
Austrian steel plant and equipment supplier Inteco has won a follow-on order to build another electro-slag remelting (ESR) plant for Sweden’s Uddeholm, Kallanish learns.
The Bruck an der Mur-based engineering specialist won a first order from Uddeholm in 2014 for a 30-t ESR which was commissioned in April 2015. The contract for an identical second furnace followed this, Inteco says.
