Indonesian spring bar maker orders Japanese mill
Indonesia’s Jatim Taman Steel has contracted JP Steel Plantech to supply a new SBQ (special bar quality) rolling mill, according to the Japanese engineering firm. The move appears to form part of Jatim’s plans, alongside Japan’s Mitsubishi Steel Manufacturing, to become a significant player in Indonesia's automotive supply chain, Kallanish notes.
