India sets for 1% steel output growth after June quarter
India produced 22.45 million tonnes of crude steel in the quarter through June. Public sector steelmakers produced 4.49mt, while their private counterparts recorded output of 17.96mt, Kallanish learns from the Indian steel ministry.
