India iron ore output falls 10.5% on-year in October
India produced 9.8 million tonnes of iron ore in October, down 10.5% year-on-year. The total value of this output was INR 2,193 crore ($346.16m), Kallanish learns from the Indian mines ministry.
Manganese ore and chromite production during the month also declined by 13.4% and 18.1% respectively to 160,000t and 127,000t.
