Independent refiner Tesoro cancels Utah crude oil pipeline

Independent refiner Tesoro Petroleum announced last Friday it had placed on "indefinite hold" plans for a 12-inch,135-mile heated, crude oil pipeline that would have cut through Utah's Kamas Valley and bisect two rivers on its way to Salt Lake City, Utah.
