IDC sees better weather boosting Turkish consumption, exports after lower 2014 sales
Increased steel consumption in Turkey’s domestic market thanks to an improvement in weather conditions in the spring will provide a boost to Turkish exports. The expected continuing decline of international prices, meanwhile, should lead to an increase in steel demand, according to Turkish long steelmaker Izmir Demir Celik (IDC).
