Hysco to build $90m autosheet stamping plant
South Korea’s Hyundai Hysco, part of Hyundai Motors and sister company to Hyundai Steel, is planning to invest won 98.8 billion ($91.3 million) in a new autosheet stamping plant in Yesan south of Seoul, it says. The company’s expansion plans will help to tie in the group’s steel plants to its automotive manufacturing arms when Hysco and Hyundai Steel eventually merge, Kallanish notes.
