Graphite electrode producer GrafTech International has become wholly owned by an affiliate of Brookfield Asset Management Inc.
GrafTech is the surviving corporation after a merger between it and a Brookfield affiliate, Kallanish understands.
Headquartered in Independence, Ohio, USA, GrafTech operates 18 manufacturing facilities on 4 continents. It provides graphite material solutions for the steel, energy, and electronic industries.
