Government reveals cyber-attack on German blast furnace
A German steelworks is said to have suffered significant damage after hackers managed to access production networks, allowing them to tamper with the controls of its blast furnace. The news was released in the government’s annual IT security report for 2014, which does not name the steelmaker, or say when in the year the attack occurred.
