Global steel output, utilisation remain down on-year in July
Global crude steel output continued to lag year-ago levels in July, according to the latest data released by the World Steel Association (worldsteel). Production has remained below 2014 for every month in 2015 except for February, Kallanish notes. Global output reached 133 million tonnes in July, a -3.8% decline from July 2014.
