Global steel tube production up 6%, thanks to China
Global steel tube production grew 6% year-on-year, to a new all-time high in 2014, reaching 165 million tonnes, according to the German tube association, Wirtschaftsvereinigung Stahlrohre. In particular, Chinese steel tube production grew by the greatest amount, or by 10% to 87mt.
