Ghana steelworks looks to expand rolling capacity
Ghana’s Sentuo Steel says it is on the verge of expanding its rolling capacity to 500,000 tonnes/year with a new $53 million investment. The Chinese-owned mill has reportedly struggled to utilise its existing capacity however, because of short supply of scrap, Kallanish notes.
